ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
In the summer of 2007, the StarKid team won a college filmmaking contest from the Walt Disney Company. We were given $20,000 (an incredible sum for us) and told to make a web series. After kicking around several half-baked ideas, we became involved in a conversation about cool band names. Little White Lie was one, but what kind of band would be formed around a lie? The seed was sown. We spent a frantic four weeks writing all eleven episodes, and shot the entire series over twenty-six. Friends and family from all corners of our lives joined in to act, crew, and provide locations. The selflessness with which everyone took part in the work at hand was truly wonderful. Autumn came, school began, and we spent the next eight months of out free time editing this monster down to the eleven 15-minute episodes we have today. We hope you enjoy them.
