WTF is this thing??? SPACE BABY is a short-form miniseries stitched together from individual shorts, surreal commercials, bizarre sketches, and experimental fever-dream vignettes that somehow form… a show? A series? A collage? An Art.
Back in 2022, Curt Mega and Jaime Lyn Beatty were tasked with creating a new digital variety show for StarKid where artists could unleash their strangest, wildest ideas. And boy, oh boy they must of smoked something ripe to make this! The result is a truly collaborative, truly WTF Frankenstein-esque creation made by a rag-tag gang of artists/freaks. Every piece was made remotely, then woven together into a trippy after-school special from another dimension.
